    Beast of a machine

Build quality is impressive, and especially at this price. Running a 4kW 3 phase 2 pole 112 frame motor from conon motor (purchased with flange mount plate, fits perfect) and powering it with single phase 240 via a bd600 3.7kW single to 3 phase VFD (3.7kW is conservative, rated for 5.5kW spikes, handles this application like a champ). Delivers 2500psi on a gauge thru a .035 nozzle, all day every day. Might be able to squeeze more out turning up the unloader but I'm hitting 4.0kW and so the vfd will pull the Hz back if I try to put more load on it. Currently using a cheap brass 1/2" flow switch on the water inlet side wired to the VFD to start and stop the motor when the trigger is pulled, but I've purchased the PA FL7 flow switch from here to go on the high pressure side, haven't got around to fitting it. This setup is for a stationary wash bay, if you need something mobile, go with a lighter motor, possibly even single phase DOL.
